Thought i recognised it, yeah it is a warhammer paint, but old school, i dont think they do that colour anymore. Could be wrong though, Think theres only elf flesh, Bronze flesh, dwarf flesh, flesh wash... and a few others, Tallarn, somthing i havent seen or come accross in years.

No problem Sometimes whats we write doesnt always match what we have in our mind. It's a cognative issue.

For the record Tallarn Flesh is a base coat foundation type paint used to paint war hammer figures apparently, so in a round about way you could twist the meaning of the question to say your actually looking at foundations of play and painting your persona, in a strange and distinctive way. (no i dont conform to normality, but thats what makes me, me )

Yeah,they still do Tallarn Flesh,imperial guard. You recognize it but before it was a toenail collection..?

The Tallarn are indeed an Imperial Guard faction in the Warhammer 40k universe, and are desert raiders based on the Desert Rats and Colonel Lawrence (ie Lawrence of Arabia)'s raiders. Tallarn flesh paint is therefore a darker skintone than elf flesh or bronzed flesh.

Other historical settings 'borrowed' and transposed for the tabletop game are Rourke's Drift (Pretorians), Vietnam (Catachan jungle fighters), WW1 German trench warfare (Death Korps of Krieg) and Cossacks (Valhallan Rough Riders). I alas have stuck with the bog standard modern day infantry look of the Cadians.

Me too,altho i use orkhide shade for the armour and Catachan green for the fatigues of my 142 cadian.
