What a wonderful night! My dearest friend travelled all the way up from Oxfordshire to debauch with us, and loved it.

Try to be respectful of other members' opinions, even if they differ from yours. The scene is vast and varied, and not everyone has the same experiences and understandings, and right and wrong are very subjective.

Don't use members' life names on the site unless they have used it themselves, or they have in some other way indicated that they don't mind it being used in a public forum. Likewise, be aware that the Tension forums are viewable by the general public. Don't post anything about yourself you don't want in the public domain, and extend the same courtesy to fellow members.

Don't post the same thread over and over. If noone has read it first time, they'll not suddenly find the identical message enthralling elsewhere on the board. In the same light, don't shamelessly bump threads without something new to contribute to it. Breathing new life into old threads is always welcome. Typing the four letters B U M P is basically quite naff.

No 'single sub looking for a Dom' type posts. Tension is not that kind of site. You are free to create a personal ad within your profile, and tell us you've created it in the the last thing I changed on my profile thread. Threads of the nature of 'sad loner looking for a kinky fuck' will be left, and our entire community will publicly humiliate and vilify you over it, for that is the law.

Keep it legal. Any discussions on sex with minors will have IP addresses logged and reported to the appropriate authorities without warning. We are fully aware that most of us had our first encounters early in life. Should that come up- say in a 'when did you first...', when I was very young will be probably be accepted. When she was a little girl will not.
